18th July: Julie’s choice – Clouds
Tall Chick Tales my sisiter
When i was a kid i loved clouds. I always looked and tried to see shapes they made. This is my 1st photo that i took it 12 years ago. We were on our way back from visiting my sister in Az. On our way home we stoped at my uncles house in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We were on our way out of walmart when it began to hail . So after the hail stoped , I looked at the sky and this what i saw.

I love the photos of the clouds and shapes. The one July 16 looks like a Koala bear.
You are so imaginative to see those shapes in the clouds. The first one, on your birthday in 1996 (days after baby girl was born!) looks like a bag of cotton balls lol.

I love the idea of taking a whole week of cloud shapes – that shows real committment! LOL!
That first pic is sensational – I think it is a very rare type of cloud called: Mammatus Clouds (pouch-like cloud structures) and a rare example of clouds in sinking air.
See another photo of one here – you’ll need to scroll down to find it.

Love em! I especially like the first photo – looks like dough balls before you make pour the cinnamon sugar on to bake.

Great photos! The first picture is quite unique, even for a cloud! Since I’ve not visited here before – welcome to Photo Friday! Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful clouds! PLL, CordieB.
